This review is specifically for the Kindle edition of this book, not about the story.For the story, this is the kind of writing and story telling that some people likeand some do not. I happen to like it, sometimes. It is what it is, and I don'thave much to say about it from that point of view.I am moved to write a review specifically because of the quality of the Kindle edition.Simply put, this is a poorly edited version of this book. I. just as consuming as the first two The third installment in the trilogy. I enjoyed this story so much that I read all three in one consecutive session. In this last book we see how Richard who in the first book started as a simple woods guide assumes rulership of all Midlands in his position as Master of D'Hara in an effort to combat the Imperial Order. His magic is still very intuitive and not under firm control which puts him in plenty of unexpected and dangerous situat. Therin said Shannara Series #1. I will say the same thing about each of the four "original" Shannara Series I read. They are entertaining. They are the first fantasy series where elf, gnome, dwarf, man and other fantastical creatures are together in the story, along with the Druid, of course.
