The minute I see the dreaded R-word, I already am aware that the author has lost connection and understanding in regard to her son, and to the autistic community. If you wish to gain insight on autism, please reach out to autistic adults in the autism community. This book here, skimming its pages, is just AWFUL RHETORIC; it lacks in validity and deserves to be censured from Amazon's catalog.. I Needed This Book In 1990!!! I have been on a similar journey and by the grace of God, my son is okay today. This is a must read for anyone whose child is on the Autism Spectrum or has other behavioral problems from simple to severe. A MUST READ!
