They may be scientifically impossible; but not impossible in the Bible. I read it as a book to be taken on its own terms, as I take books of fiction or abstract physics on their own terms. There is much that requires critical examination, which I have been quite happy to give. But the mixed messages we get about the moral views of these Bible people bother me a lot. Many of the historical books of the Bible are true to actual history; but some are questionable The latter haven't bothered me. This two-volume work is my take on the Scriptures, developed as I read through the whole blessed thing. There's no point in arguing that many of its events are impossible. If you read my book, you'll see what I'm talking about.
