"This is the exact same book as Design Connoisseur. Page for page. Disappointed." according to sspeggystick. This is the exact same book as Design Connoisseur. Literally, page for page.I enjoy Steven Heller books, but seriously, a new cover and a new title does not make it a new book. They could at least mention that it was previously published as Design Connoisseur.Other than my disappointment at buying the same book twice, it IS a good book and now it comes with a CD so it is easier to utilize the resources.. "Cover is the best part" according to Vidalia11. I was so attracted by the cover that I bought the book. The interior is not up to the level of the cover. The material seems scanned and not as crisp as it could be. It is entirely in black-and-white. It's a nice idea that it comes with a CD of the imagesexcept.they are pdf files and not even scanned at high resolution. Someone messed up with this book because the authors are usually outstanding.. "Huge disappointment coming from Steven Heller" according to Rob Howell. I've been working with vintage typography and graphics for more than twenty years. I have a great deal of respect for Steven Heller and his contributions to the graphics genre-but, I have to say this book was a major disappointment.
