Cassini did some nice designs but seem very dated today.Depends what you like, I guess, but his last designs,especially for wedding gowns, were really quite tacky.. Gem Michelle Beautiful book with fantastic historical photos of gowns as worn by Jackie Kennedy, Grace Kelly, etc. Large with beautiful clear cover. I gave this to my future daughter-in-law after buy her an Oleg Cassini wedding dress, and since her grandmother was so smitten by the designer, I thought they could both enjoy looking through it. I know I did, which surprised me. The book was purchased used but arrived in pristine condition. There were two small stickers on it which I very carefully and . Meh I got this for a friend's bridal shower because I love love love coffee table books and I think the bridal ones are fun, but I flipped through it and it's basically a bunch of cheesy pictures poorly assembled by the eponymous designer, along with commentaries about how many famous people he knows. Which is fine if that's what you're into, but to me it came across as a bit juvenile and definitely too tacky to give as a gift. Many of the dresses are gorgeous, but the author's skill in fash
