Bruce Miles said great procedural. The McCabe and Savage stories are not the best mysteries, but I believe they are the best and most entertaining police procedurals. I th o roughly enjoy the discussions between the two, imagining that police officers engage in this type of speculation. I figured out the murderer, but then began to second guess myself because McCabe did. Nice and simple to read.. Kindle Customer said Another great McCabe and Savage book. I really enjoyed this book. I read the whole thing in less than "Another great McCabe and Savage book" according to Kindle Customer. I really enjoyed this book. I read the whole thing in less than 2 days and I don't usually read quite that fast. Yes, the killer was not a surprise but I didn't think that took anything away from the book. It was still interesting to see how they figured it all out. A great addition to the series in my opinion. I can't wait for the next one.. days and I don't usually read quite that fast. I can't wait for the next one.. "Quick, easy read" according to Melissa Tate. McCabe and Savage don't disappoint as far as characters go, but the storyline was a little blah. I think it would have been a better book if it had covered more of Hannah's story, but then it wouldn't have been the "quick and easy" read that Hartley seems to excel with. I enjoy the interpersonal relationship of McCabe and savage.
