great resource for browsing, some flaws This is a compilation of earlier Magic: The Gathering encyclopedias. It contains full color images of every card up to and including 7th edition and the Invasion block sets. As other reviewers have pointed out, no attempt was made to edit the separate earlier encylcopedias into a single consistent presentation, and there are some glitches here and there. For some of the earlier sets, the card images don't have very good contrast, making the text a little hard to read.Still, I am delighted to have this book. I already had the card encyclopedias from all the more recent sets that come with the fat packs, and with . "Six volumes in only a book" according to Igor Martins. Great for collectors. It is a compilation of all other editions released in 6 volumes.
