Just as good as the first volume Jeff H. This review is for the audio CD version unlike the other reviewer. Scott Brick is awesome! I would love to see a dramatized version of the trilogy with Scott reading as John Carter. I've always like Edgar Rice Burroughs and this series in particular. With the third volume of the trilogy now available on Audio CD (Scott Brick Version) I'm sure it will be just as good as the previous ones. I wonder if Scott Brick plans on reading any other Burroughs Novels? Hint, hint. Gr. "Five Stars" according to Thomas F. Ryan. great writer and really good storys. horrendous FBE abusing a classic just because it is in public domain, littering it with pornographic imagery. It feels like a desperate grasp for attention, should be avoided at all costs.
After serving in the Seventh Cavalry and a reserve militia during World War I, Edgar Rice Burroughs (1875-1950) wrote for pulp fiction magazines. His best-known book, Tarzan of the Apes, was the start of his longest and most successful series.Scott Brick has recorded over five hundred audiobooks, won over forty AudioFile Earphones Awards, and twice received Audie Awards for his work.
