It's the best intro book possible and a great way for people to get to know the basics without being overwhelmed. Also a great way to weed out who really wants to learn or not.. The best primer book in the field of video production!!! You need this!!! I've read Tom's 2nd edition on typewritten paper back when I was in highschool! Fast forward to 2016 when I saw this third edition I immediately bought it as a memorabilia and at the same time read it from cover to cover. What a wonderful book!
