DESCRIPTION:
An Interesting Sprint Grain of Salt Reviews I bought this short story knowing full well it was a short story. I wanted to see if I liked the writing style before I spent a bunch of money on the entire series that I was interested in.The first thing I noted is that this seems to be the first in the "Kid Sensation" series, but the second in the series as a whole. I was very confused until I actually started reading. The descriptions of the books imply a "Young Indiana Jones" style prequel series, but that isn't the case at all. Read them in publication order if you want to understand the chronology. As for this story as a standalone: It does a decent job of explaining the events of the fi. A great short story. dbibb Building upon events from the first two Kid Sensation books, the story fills a gap in the novels and a promise, Jim, the protagonist, made. As the events involve spoilers from several of the books, I do not want to say more, but the series is a fun one and well worth reading. I would love the story to come out on audio book. I have the audio books of the first four novels and they are wonderfully performed. I highly recommend this story and the series.. "EXTRACTION: A Kid Sensation Short Story" according to NORMAN GERREN. As with the other readers who purchased this book, I didn't take the time to check the page count, which I normally do, thinking it was simply another full novel. However, the price was right and the story is still worthy of your time. If you have read the first two novel in this series, this short story will be a good addition to what you have already read. Read the first two novels in this series if you have not already done so, then order this one and the next. You will be glad that you did. They are a good clean read, a fantastic escape from the barge of four letter words that today's author's are trying to push upon us.
Unfortunately, breaking in is only half the problem (and the easy half, at that); they also have to break back out. But breaking into a top-secret, heavily-fortified government installation is never a walk in the park, especially when said installation has top-of-the-line security systems, trigger-happy guards, and its own team of formidable supers. Everyone needs help occasionally - even supers with amazing powers - and Jim (aka Kid Sensation) is no exception. It will take a bold and audacious plan to get Jim - and the friends who volunteer to help him - inside. Having previously received aid from a young psychic named Rudi, Jim feels obligated to return to the favor and rescue her from the federal facility where she's being held
