Janet G said Better than Hunger Games and Divergance.. I loved this so much that as a 9 year old little girl I took it from the tiny little library at my elementary school. I was the only girl who had read the book. I found out later when the school was closed a few years later the books were tossed! I still have the copy that I saved but I got a kindle version to take everywhere. I think this book has some very relevant advice to people everywhere. It was the first YA book I'd ever encountered. Timeless Story I am beginning to think that a selection of Robert Heinlein's juvenile science fiction books should be required reading in every Middle School class. Even though the science in these stories is outdated, in some cases badly so, and the social mores reflect the period in which they were published, the 1950's, although that may not actually be a bad thing, I think the young reader can still learn a lot from Heinlein's stories. They may not be. "Great book - poor conversion to Kindle" according to B.S.. I first read this book when I was around the age of 10 and it's been one I revisit every few years.
