Looking at the thought-provoking writings and skills on which Swedenborg started 265 years ago Gert Bo Thorgersen This is a book for readers who try to discover, or learning more, about Swedenborg, an exceptional person who lived during the years 1688 - 1772. A person who after in the first part of his life, having learned all the existing science and knowledge, then went farther than every body else, by "contacting" and "talking" with God, angels, and dead persons. For example when he was asked to contact dead persons for getting messages from them then he brought mes. "Great service!" according to Tom Funk. Great service and all is well. i think Swedenborg is way cool. but the Van Dusen i think Swedenborg is way cool. but the Van Dusen just not sure if i like him. it was a decent primer. i will admit to being picky. the sections that were from Swedenborg's pen were relatively accessible. it's plausible to go right to the source. i anticipate a challenge with this because he was prolific, but i feel Van Dusen's worshipful tone gets in the way of ones own assessment.
