This book is about so much it is hard to know where to start. Politics, abandonment, pop culture, generational differences, sexual abuse, the human condition, forgiveness, self loathing. Its about being a mother, a son, a father, a sister, a brother, a child, an adult, an idealist, a cynic, a soldier, a teacher, a student and so on. The bottom line is, this book will break your heart in to tiny pieces and lift your soul too. This author writes with so much empathy and understanding of what it is to be human, what it is to be alive. You will squirm, there are things
