Gerry Lebing said great book for beginner and intermediates!. This book has been the best book I have read yet regarding photography! I have Canon gear and this is the first book that has gotten into the nitty gritty of each lens and how to use them. Finally, I feel I understand aperture, shutter speed and ISO--something I struggled with. I have a Rebel T5 and have relied on the camera and its shooting modes to make aperture and shutter speed decisions for me, but now I am encourag. A great book for beginners, but not as specifically about canon lenses as advertised For some background, I purchased this book while researching my first DSLR purchase. I wanted to make an informed decision before buying lenses that I didn't want or need and I wasn't sure that the kit lenses were the way that I wanted to go.
