Great for Starting Over I haven't played in almost 30 years and recently got a student cornet mostly to improve my lungs now that I have asthma. This book is very complete and goes from almost absolute beginner to some fairly complex material by the end. It is a fairly thick book too so there is a lot of material. The CD to play along with is excellent as well and makes it more interesting also he.
