It was very complete and easy to understand, but if you're studying for the state exam on your own (as most do) and only have a couple of weeks to complete the process (my DM did have some expectations), it might be a bit excessive to use this book as your sole source of study material. If I had several weeks to ease into the material I would have used this book as my primary study guide. I used it to study the more difficult concepts once I had identified them . out of 5 stars, leaving one out because of its size.
