A Very Complete Book This book is very complete in that it provides some history to the art of calligraphy, and some history behind the various alphabets covered.. Calligraphy Course In a Book Good book for illustrating different writing styles. Also includes lined page that you can use to practice with (copy page and magnify or reduce the page to fit your needs). I am just trying this again after using calligraphy to address 500 wedding invitations. 30 years ago, I used a calligraphy pen that gave out long before I did! This book should help to learn the proper way to write rather than the. Excellent starting point for the beginner. I'm quite pleased with this book. One thing that I really liked was she gives tips for a left handed person. Being left handed, I find very few books dealing with drawing arts and such that have advice for leftys.The text was a little difficult to follow at first, but it wasn't that big a problem.Highly recommended.
