I recently started a "Sound for Picture" course, the class has no text book, but my instructor recommended this book to me. I am extremely satisfied. I also got "Producing Great Sound for Film and Video, Third Edition (DV Expert Series)" and wish that I had that book when I had taken my video production class. I'm recomme.
