Disappointed Sandra Van The songs are unfamiliar. Not what I expected,I do like the 3 chords, but I wish I had not bought this book. I could get familiar Christmas songs free online.. Thanks for Fun Times Our family had a great time Christmas Eve playing carols from the book on my son's classroom's ukeleles. Only one of us had every played uke before, and I imagine we sounded horrible, but it was sure fun. Three chords was definitely our limit, so the boo was a lifesaver. I will say that there were a number of very obscure carols, but there were enough regulars to keep us occupied.. "really fun" according to wallysgma. This is a very easy music book for a beginner, and a lot of fun for a more accomplished player. Most of the songs are familiar to me. Music staff with notes are with each song, so you don't have to depend on just the chords. I recommend it for anyone who wants to be able to play Christmas music quickly and comfortably.
