Todd Hido (born in Kent, Ohio, 1968) is a San Francisco Bay Area-based artist. His other books include Omaha Sketchbook and Harvard Works Because We Do. He has published over a dozen books, including House Hunting (2001), Roaming (2004), and Excerpts from Silver Meadows (2013). He currently teaches at the Rochester Institute of Technology. The best educational photography book I have ever purchased Eric Kim This book by Todd Hido is the most educational and insightful book on photography I have ever purchased. Todd Hido is full of insights, wisdom, and a down-to-earth sense that is uplifting.There is very little fluff in the book-- you can learn tons of practical lessons that you can directly apply to your own photography. Kind of psyched it's a series and there are others now to look forward to. Felt like I was having a dinner conversation with Mr. Hido (reading this book).
