DESCRIPTION:
A weak link in the chain This is not the strongest installment of the Sword of Truth series. I really adore this series and can generally stick with Goodkind while we go on seemingly unconnected tangents (he always weaves it all together in the end). However, in this book, it takes about 85% of the book until it starts to get good. I can understand why he thought it was necessary to introduce a particular character in such length, but I would have liked to have seen more of the characters we already know and love. So while I got through it and am now happily on the to next book in the series, I. Mooncat Amazon Customer I really loved this and the last books best. Between the two, Mr. Goodkind clearly st as Ted Kennedy philosophy to which I can relate, it resonates."Life is the future, not the past. The past can teach us, through experience, how to accomplish things in the future, comfort us with cherished memories, and provide the foundation of what has already been accomplished. But only the future holds Life. To live in the past is to embrace what is dead. To live life to its fullest, each day must be created anew. So many that I've forgotten so much so it's like reading it for the first time . This was fabulousI've been reading this series non stopI'm off to the eighth book now
To do so, Richard will be called upon to face the demons stalking among the Pillars of Creation.. Tormented her entire life by inhuman voices, Jennsen seeks to end her intolerable agony. Exploited by those intent on domination, Jennsen finds herself drawn into the center of a violent struggle for conquest and revenge. Richard Rahl and his wife, Kahlan, have been reunited after their long separation, but with winter descending and the paralyzing dread of an army of annihilation occupying their homeland, they must venture deep into a strange and desolate land. But if they are to live, they must stop the relentless, unearthly threat that comes out of the darkest night of the human soul. Only then does she come to realize that the voices were real. For everyone else, the torment is about to begin. Worse yet, she finds her will seized by dark forces more abhorrent than anything she ever envisioned. She at last discover
Loyal readers, who know the truth that Jennsen seeks, may find this book tedious as they wonder when Lord Richard Rahl and Mother Confessor Kahlan are going to swoop in and save the day. She runs in the shadows of Lord Richard Rahl's domain with a spy sent by Emperor Jagang, the enemy of D'Hara. But with the Pillars of Creation he takes a detour from his usual approach, leaving his primary protagonists in the background to spin a story of one woman's battle to discover the truth of her heritage. Seven books into his Sword of Truth series, author Terry Goodkind continues to expand and enlarge the fantasy realm D'Hara. G
