DESCRIPTION:
Because although Rigg can decipher the paths of the past, he can’t yet see the horror that lies ahead: A destructive force with deadly intentions is hurtling toward Garden. If Rigg, Umbo, and Param can’t work together to alter the past, there will be no future.. But they will have little choice. Rigg, Umbo, and Param know that they cannot trust the expendable, Vadesh — a machine shaped like a human, created to deceive — but they are no longer certain that they can even trust one another. But the dangers in this new wallfold are more difficult to see. When Rigg and his friends crossed the Wall between the only world they knew and a world they could not imagine, he hoped he was leading them to safety
Good second installment. I was really excited for this 2nd Novel to come out in this Pathfinder series. I read the first one last year and was impressed with the story-line, the grand vistas, and new characters that Card has introduced us to. I have read OSC material for a very long time so I usually know what I am getting into when deciding to read another series from him. This book flowed similarly to the f. A trippy, mind-bending story full of mysteries, paradoxes, time loops, and recursive story lines Craig Ruins is the 2nd volume in a trilogy, and it takes the story in some bizarre, unexpected directions. It is better than its predecessor Pathfinder. The biggest flaw of the first book—Rigg being so smart and powerful that you never felt like he was in any real danger—is remedied. Rigg is finally faced with challenges he does not know the answer to. The first volume was essen. "Card is usually as good as Niven and Pournell when they write together" according to Michael Bravo. Pathfinder was great as all other Card books have been. started this one 2 years ago and is few Card books I can not recall if I ever finished reading much less read in just a 1-Card is usually as good as Niven and Pournell when they write together Pathfinder was great as all other Card books have been. started this one 2 years ago and is few Card books I can not recall if I ever finished reading much less read in just a 1-3 days as all the rest. Would rather read more on The Worthing Saga, a Sequel to Treason, the series about the Tattoo'd people or he co-wrote with ?Katherine Kidd? not for sure on her name and forgot the name . days as all the rest.
