Refreshingly honest about his mistakes, I learned a lot from them. What I loved about this book was just how honest he was about his short comings in business. I've learned a lot just reading about how he made many many mistakes, he grew too quickly while losing sight of who his customer is, and would delegate fully trusting his staff, but never verifying they were doing the right job. So many lessons, and its an easy read, I read it in a week. I wanted to read it because it was suggested by a business coach I trust, and as someone who's got a business with multiple locations, it has opened my eyes to several good things as well that Tom did right, not just negative.
