DESCRIPTION:
Told in the funny, irreverent style listeners have come to expect from Percy ("I've had some bad experiences in my time, but the heroes I'm going to tell you about were the original old-school hard-luck cases. Who cut off Medusa's head? Who was raised by a she-bear? Who tamed Pegasus? And whatever happened to that Golden Fleece? It takes a demigod to know the answers, and Percy Jackson can fill you in on all the daring deeds of Perseus, Atalanta, Bellerophon, and the rest of the major Greek heroes. They boldly screwed up where no one had screwed up before."), this story collection will become the new must-have classic for Rick Riordan's legions of devoted fans - and for anyone who needs a hero.
""It has really good stories and humor" according to Amitra Schwols. My 10 year old says, "Epic Epic Epic!" When pressed on why he thought it was epic, he said, "It has really good stories and humor. The old stories were shaken up a bit, and made funny."I agree with him - this is a good way for kids to get the old Greek legends - Hercules, Perseus, Jason and the Argonauts. Great content, horrible product I love Prime My daughter loves the Percy Jackson series and was very excited to receive this book to learn more about Greek mythology. Unfortunately, the book is constructed with a cheap glue spine binding. The pages started falling out almost immediately upon reading. Based on the content alone, I'd give this a 5, b. "Great for comedy and significant information about Greek heroes" according to Nareh. Do you like comedy? Action? Sarcasm? Greek mythology? Then this totally the book for you! If you have read the whole Percy Jackson series, or the Greek Gods, I believe you will enjoy this book as well. Percy Jackson is a great story teller (wink wink;)). I really liked this book and I hope you do too:)))
