About the AuthorAlain Briot is one of today's leading contemporary landscape photographers. He began his study of photography at Northern Arizona University, earning his Bachelor's Degree in 1990 and his Master's Degree in Visual Communication in 1992.From 1995 to 2002, Briot lived at Canyon de Chelly, Arizona, in the heart of the Navajo Nation. Okay if if you shoot images similar to the author Prof. G This is not a bad book if you're into shooting photographs similar to the author and you want to join the circuit of galleries you see in places such as Sedona, AZ The author actually gives a lot of good advice.The book is pretty well made for that audience.The catch though, is that it's not really about the real market of contemporary art photography. You will not find here references to Paris Photo, nor r. Just Get It - But K. Williams Lots to say here. First, this is a great resource - just get it.This book has a great deal to offer aspiring fine art photographers in a very challenging business environment.Let's be frank, Briot has lots of opinions based on what has worked for him - and he sells many images at the Grand Canyon National Park Service store - great gig if you can get it!
