Usually the present tense is what is taught first but these CDs are a little unorthodox. Paul Noble uses the past tense (actually the present perfect)in the beginning. He has a reason for using this tense first which I found in CD 10. He uses many tricks to learning the different tenses and one of them incorporates the present perfect tense. His method of teaching is very smart. I am remembering everything Paul is teaching because I only have to remember the tricks. Y.
