They are both terribly injured after a sledding accident, Jack with a broken leg and Jill with a more serious injured back. Both are bedridden and their friends and family do all they can over the next year to cheer them up.Patience and sweetness of temperament aren't Jack and Jill's strong suits, and both struggle at times to control their tempers. Things are especially hard . This book is filled with great lessons for pre-teens, teens or anyone to learn from! Yes, this is a book that tells the story of Jack and Jill to pre-teens, teens, etc, yet there is so much wisdom in this book. Although it is not my favorite Louisa May Alcott book, I did find it very inspiring when I read the book. It is well written and has much truth in this story of these two young people Jack and Jill.It is also well formatted for the Kindle and I found it very easy to read on a seven inch and eight inch device as well.This is a good read for young people or rea. "Nursery ryme to book" according to Kindle Customer. Take the nursery ryme "Jack and Jill" for a starting point, speculate the consequenses, and you more or less have this book. Add in alot of moral preaching, make the kids way to good to be true, and you do have this book.
